Lighting Inspection Services
Part- time remote: Enjoy a solid part-time income with an established lighting industry leader in Las Vegas and Clark County. This opportunity offers flexible evening hours and the freedom to work independently in the Summerlin, NV area. Our Field Inspection Monitors conduct route-based local travel after sunset to determine lighting outages at our contracted commercial accounts. These accounts include Homeowner Association Subdivisions (HOA’s), auto dealerships, strip malls and other commercial properties.
Identifying and correcting lighting outages before they become an issue is key to our business performance. Inspection team members play an important role in this as they drive through and past our account properties determining, recording, and reporting lighting outages and/or non-operational fixtures we maintain. Following each route completion, reports are then submitted to our Maintenance and Repair office electronically for our follow-up.
Inspection routes are driven 2 evenings each week for a total of 5 hours per route or 10 hours per week. This is a remote position with no need to commute to our Las Vegas offices.
Personal Qualities and Experience:
- Reliability is vital in maintaining Nevada Illumination’s high-performance business standard and reputation.

- Self-disciplined with the ability to work evening (post dark) hours / nights.
- Use of an automobile
- Must hold a current Nevada driver’s license.

Commercial Lighting Technician
Full-time on site: Come join this established industry leader providing commercial lighting service and maintenance to customers throughout Las Vegas and greater Clark County. We’re looking for an experienced technician to fill a full-time position serving our property management clients. These clients manage commercial lighting maintenance and upkeep for commercial structures and Homeowner Associations (HOA). Responsibilities:
• You will be responsible for the maintenance/repairs of exterior and interior lighting.
• The ideal candidate will possess a high level of professionalism and customer service.
• Performing exterior lighting maintenance in commercial/retail locations.
• Replacement of electrical equipment, including but not limited to ballasts, lamps, sockets, switches, fixtures, etc. and involving voltages ranging from 120 to 480 volts.
The applicant should possess the following skills:
• Knowledge of lighting systems and components
• Ability to use fault locator (underground issues)
• Ability to tow and operate 32’ scissor lift.
• Ability to lift / carry 60 – 75 lbs. of equipment.
• Be able to use ladders – up to 32’ extension ladder.
